The course grade will be calculated as follows:

• Homework: 25%.
• Midterm Exam: 35%. (Aug 3rd, 2013 15:30 - 17:30)
• Quiz I: 7%.
• Quiz II: 8%.
• Final Exam 25%. (Sep 29th, 2013 12:00 - 14:00)
• Exams will be multiple choice

Assignments are to be submitted electronically on the course website unless specifically noted otherwise. The URL for assignment submission is http://hw.cs.science.cmu.ac.th/hw204100_secinter/login.asp. Please use Internet Explorer (IE) for English language user interface. For those of you who have not received the username and password for assignment submission, please contact me at kittipitch.cmu@gmail.com or facebook message me. For homework assignment, students are allowed to discuss the assignments and/or get help from other students. In such circumstance, however, students are required to write down the name of the person the discussion has been made with. Also, each student must write down the answers in his/her own words. Assignment copying is considered cheating and will be penalized according to the university's regulation

All assignments are due one week after it is issued, at 11:59pm. So if an assignment is given this Monday, it is due next Monday at 11:59pm (unless stated otherwise on the assignment sheet.) A penalty of 20% of the total score allocated to an assignment will be deducted on late submission. For example, an assignment of the score 9/10 will become 7/10 if submitted late. For the first half the course, all assignments must be submitted before the midterm exam date. Likewise, for the second half of the course, any assignment submitted after the final exam date will not be accepted.
